On-device AI model
The bundled local model processes document text on your computer. Translation quality, language coverage, and speed depend on the model and your hardware.
ON-DEVICE INTELLIGENCE. PRIVATE BY DESIGN.
Translate on your Windows computer with a local AI model. Source text, translated output, glossaries, and reference translations are never uploaded to our servers.
01 / LOCAL COMPUTING, PRIVATE DOCUMENTS
The AI model and llama.cpp runtime run on your own computer. Your translation workflow does not send document content to a cloud model.
The bundled local model processes document text on your computer. Translation quality, language coverage, and speed depend on the model and your hardware.
Source text, translated results, glossary entries, and reference translations are not uploaded to our servers. Your reference library and saved sessions remain on your device.
Online sign-in obtains a signed license. Later launches and translation validate it locally, without periodic network checks. A valid cached license lets you work offline; registration, sign-in, and renewal require internet.
02 / YOUR REFERENCE LIBRARY STAYS LOCAL
Import useful language choices without uploading your reference materials to the server.
Keep source terms and approved translations in a glossary on your device. Relevant entries are retrieved locally for each translation segment.
Store paired source and translated passages as bilingual examples on your computer. Local retrieval finds similar references without sending them to our servers.
Document prescanning and term extraction run locally. Optional term enforcement corrects known variants and flags omissions in the translated text.
03 / WORK WITHOUT A CLOUD TRANSLATION SERVICE
Once you have signed in online, keep working without internet access while your cached license remains valid.
The local model works through manageable document chunks, with overlap to help carry context between segments.
Save source and translated text in local sessions, reopen previous work, and resume an interrupted document.
Review the source and translated output in your desktop workspace, then export the result to a local file.
04 / YOUR FILES, PROCESSED ON YOUR COMPUTER
Document import extracts text locally. Original formatting, charts, and page layout are not reproduced in the output.
Extract text from supported Word and spreadsheet documents on your device for the local translation pipeline.
Read text-layer PDFs and encoding-aware text files locally. Scanned image PDFs require a text layer or OCR before import.
Save translated text on your computer for review or your own publishing workflow. Review AI output for accuracy before use.
LOCAL MODEL. LOCAL REFERENCES. YOUR CONTROL.
Try local translation for 30 days. Your source, output, and reference library stay on your device.
